Gauge Heads for Inside Diameter (Direct type)
This type of gauge heads are used to measure inside diameter of holes.
Air is directly released through nozzle hole into the measured product and this type provides non-contact measurement.

Gauge Heads for Inside Diameter (Indirect Type/Leaf Type)
In some product conditions, where direct type is not a proper choice, the measurement should use indirect contact type. In this type, air nozzle hole is set under a leaf with carbide ball on its measuring point. The carbide ball directly contact the product surface. Differ with direct type, air from the nozzle hole is not directly released into the product.

Gauge Heads for Outside Diameter (Direct type)
This type of gauge heads are used for measuring outside diameter and provide non-contact measurement.
Two types of snap and ring style are available.

Gauge Heads for Outside Diameter (Indirect type)
In this type, the air nozzle hole is set under a leaf with carbide ball on its measuring point. The carbide ball directly contact the product surface and the air is not directly released into the product.

Master Gauges for Air Micrometer
Gauge heads are used together with an air micrometer, which is a comparator type instrument calibrated using a pair of master rings or plugs.
A pair of masters consists of upper and lower part of limit sizes.
